Seth, Nuala and David all made a point of stopping by to see how we were settling in and it was lovely to read the history behind the creation of the villas. "If you want to be out of the hustle and bustle of downtown (10 minutes to the CBD) and enjoy a lovely territorial view, this is the place to stay when visiting New Plymouth. We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed our spacious room and quiet surroundings ... you might hear a cow occasionally 'mooing' but that's part of the country side ambiance of One Burgess Hill."

"We arrived just before sunset and we were greeted by a beautiful sunset. Our cabin was on absolute beach frontage so the view was unobstructed. We poured ourselves a glass of wine and sat on the deck having a relaxing evening. The kitchen area had all the necessary items to prepare a meal but all cooking had to be done in the common kitchen, just behind us. We loved it so much we stayed an extra night and the receptionist offered us a favourable discount for the second night."

"I arrived late the key was in the door bed side lights and heating on A beautiful and calm retreat which was just what I needed."

"The only issue was that when the power went on in the room the dishwasher started As it was quite late it was a little noisey when trying to sleep. Otherwise everything was very good."
