"Great location a 15 minute from the centre of Canterbury. Very clean , great breakfast with lots of choice & wonderful hosts. Would stay here again & highly recommend . Definitely 10 out of 10. "

"The room was clean, pleasant and windows you could open! The beds were very comfy. We enjoyed our small evening snack, breakfast and lunch dishes. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I enjoyed the pool and sauna. They don't have a jacuzzi but a refreshing jacuzzi type cool pool to use after the sauna. We loved the calm and Monet-esque gardens and look forward to our next visit when the outdoor pool and flowers are out. "

"Great except for one thing - they were closed from 3 to 5 in the afternoon with no way of getting a key to our room. It would be useful if they could devise a system so that keys are available in this critical time in the afternoon so that people can gain access to their room and relax before the facilities open at 5 PM. Other than the above, all was excellent. "

"Overall the stay went well, although the room did not meet expectations after seeing pictures, with it feeling worn and in need of refurbishment, and the car park full of pot holes. You could also hear guests in other rooms, especially as they flushed toilets, used the shower, and made noise. Staff were friendly and inviting and beds comfortable. I would mark it more within 3.5 stars than the advertised 4 star. "

"We enjoyed everything at the hotel. The rooms are a bit dated but I didn't mind that too much - it added to the charm because everything worked absolutely fine (shower, TV, kettle). "Lovely pub and very nice room looking over the water and the nearby marina with a big comfortable bed and beautiful spacious bathroom. All the staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The weather was very ‘British’ (wet and windy!) during our short stay, so we loved the cosy ambience of the bar and the beautiful open fire. "Staff were great, room was overall lovely and clean but coffee and kettle was dusty and few bits in the room that was a little run down hence the 4 stars."

"The staff on checking in weren’t too friendly and rushed through all details - we had to ask to repeat some details. He didn’t know we had pre-paid for buffet breakfast so had to find details of booking to show him. The staff on in the morning were totally different; very friendly and helpful. Room fairly clean overall. "

"Breakfast was good. Dinner was okay it is not freshly cooked on site but heated packaged meals, but served well. The bar was sell stocked, there isn't much around the Inn you would have to drive. No phone in the rooms, my Mother in law had an issue with her toilet running so she had to dress and go downstairs to the desk as her cell phone did not have service. However, the issue was resolved quickly. Staff was friendly."
