"The property is a lovely place that has kept its unique original features. The Victorian facades and interior are refreshingly maintained. The staff are all very welcoming and genuinely friendly. Well located in a rural spot but 5 minutes walk into town, via the sea front promenade."

"Perfect location and beautiful setting. The pub was lovely and it was a great spot to hike from. We didn’t use our car during our stay. You could order off the menu for breakfast which was great. We would definitely stay here again "

"We enjoyed staying in the property. We had a car and can visit all the Lake District attractions from the location. The view of the hotel was superb and manage to take some nice snaps. English Breakfast was included and the hospitality was superb. I faced flush issue with the toilet but the hotel has resolved the issue within quick turnaround time. Very impressed with the quick resolving of this issue. The room service was also good with general toiletries, room cleaning and towels changed on...
"View from room was beautiful. Room condition was acceptable. Breakfast was basic buffet with cold cuts,cereal ,fruits , simple pastry ,coffee from automatic coffee machine. No hot food included in booking such as eggs or full English breakfast ,You have to pay more for that. "
