We loved the overall ambience of the hotel, easy parking and proximity to the beautiful nearby villages. Our room was well equipped and tastefully decorated and the breakfast was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel is located away from everything,very quiet and serene area, no shops,no noise, nothing. The grounds are well kept and very green. Our room was amazing and had a large terasse, the bed was super comfy. Good continental breakfast and if course - the pool!

Die Zimmer finden wir im Gegensatz zu anderen Bewerter*innen super liebervoll, nett und im kleinsten Detail eingerichtet. Service und Empfang super nett und der Standort ist ja, wenn man es auf der Karte sieht eh klar, man geht dort hin um Ruhe und Enspannung zu haben und nicht Party zu feiern. Wir waren zu unserer Verlobungsreise, Hochtzeitsreise und von 15 Jahren mit unseren Kindern dort. Jedes mal ein Genuss. Dieses mal wollten wir 2 Tage das vorzügliche Abendessen geniessen, ich jedoch war zu doof, zu erkennen, dass Dienstag und Mittwoch die Küche geschlossen ist. Wir fragten, ob wir von den 2 gebuchten Tagen auf 1 reduzieren können. Wurde ohne murren und Aufpreis gemacht. Super Entgegenkommen. Wir kommen gerne im Frühjahr wieder, aber diesmal nicht Dienstag oder Mittwoch. Ach ja, das Frühstück war ebenfalls ein Höhepunkt, mit einem Lächeln empfangen, Brot, Wurst, Käse Obst auch Vegan möglich. Verabschiedet auch mit einem Lächeln und dem Hinweis, dass unser Tag hoffentlich für uns sehr schön wird. Das wurde er auch dank den Menschen vom Hotel L' Illwald. Hört nicht auf die negativen Bewertungen, L`llwald ist ein Erlebnis. Danke.

das Hauptmanko ist die Lage - leider an einer sehr stark auch von LKW-Verkehr befahrenen Landstraße außerhalb einer Ortschaft --> Folge: es ist laut. Der Garten (Obstbäume, Wiese) lädt zwar zum Ausruhen ein - ebenso der Pool - doch der Straßenlärm verhindert die Entspannung...

Bel hôtel - restaurant formidable

Bel hôtel, bien décoré, au calme mais manque quelques détails pour un 4 étoiles : peignoir dans la chambre ou produits d’accueil, un meuble ou une étagère pour poser ses affaires dans la sdb pmr, une fenêtre brouillée pour ne pas être vu de l’exterieur dans la sdb. Restauration parfaite : dîner et petit déjeuner qui valent le détour.

Nature, terroir and nice people

Perfectly located hotel with an amazing breakfast and a very nice restaurant with a superb selection of wines and local dishes. Well organised, nice pool that we couldn’t use only because of the weather. Perfect for our dog, she just loved the garden and you can have a walk along a nice path between crops and fruit trees.

dejligt hotel og restaurant

Dejligt lille hotel ude på landet i Alsace. Man skal køre 15-20 minutter for at komme til vinmarkerne og de hyggelige middelalderlige men også meget turistede vinbyer. På plussiden er dejlig pool og dejlig restaurant med god mad og vin til fair priser. Dejlig morgenmad. Værelser og hotel er med alle moderne bekvemmeligheder, men stadig holdt i gammel stil. Et klart minus er at det ligger ved en trafikeret landevej - fredag var der rigtig meget trafik og støj derfra, men i weekenden var det tåleligt. Personalet havde i det store hele en imødekommende attitude.

WEEK-END sans fausses notes

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel le temps d'un week-end. Le dépaysement est total, le calme très appréciable. La piscine (un peu froide) est agréable. Le cadre est magnifique et incite au repos ! La chambre confortable et en duplex que nous avions était très jolie, sobre et pratique. Seul bémol, la nuit fût difficile avec la chaleur (malgréun systèmede clim). Le personnel sympathique. Clin d'oeil à Laure, qui était aux petits soins pour nous et qui nous à fait passer une très bonne soirée. Le petit-déjeuner copieux (tout comme le repas de la veille au soir) et d'excellente qualité. Belle découverte ! Nous y reviendrons c'est sur !

Agréable séjour

Très agéable séjour. Nous y avions déjà séjourné il y a deux ans mais en chambre prestige à l'étage. Pour ce séjour, nous étions au rdch et c'était un peu plus bruyant. Le petit déjeuner est top et le personnel très aimable. Nous n'avons pas pu nous baigner en raison du temps mais la piscine avait l'air très accueillante.
