"Furnishings a bit tired"

"Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, warm plates in the plate holder. That must be a first, tea and coffee was also hot. Food selection was good. Would definitely stay for a night again if stopping off on the at further south. Dog 🐕 was made very welcome 🤗 and got a treat. Good central location. 💙🤗🙏xxx"

"I liked the sea view. I liked the friendliness of the staff and that they listened to my requests. However my room was too small. The TV plug only just reached the wall socket. The kettle and bedside light had to sit on the floor because I couldn't plug them in otherwise. There was no bedside table. My room was not made up between the first and second nights. My toilet seat snapped off and was unusable. There was not much choice at breakfast, marmalade and only one choice of cereal."

"Property appears to have been recently made over, everything is new and fresh, extremely clean and although on the small side the rooms are perfect for overnight stays, comfortable bed and with more than enough tea/coffee supplies unlike a lot of places. "Lovely place to stay and in a very good location. It has a lovely aesthetic and there was drinks and cake for guests waiting. I would leave a note for guests arriving early that they can leave their cars in the car park before check in as my partner kept going back to check with someone (anxiety) and there wasn't anyone around to ask. "Our room was excellent very quiet with lovely comfortable bed, nice bed linen, towels and plenty of tea&coffee etc. Breakfast was delicious. We ate evening meals at the hotel which were homemade and great quality and reasonable price. New owners have taken over hotel just over 2 mths ago and we found them to be very friendly, welcoming and hard working. They're improving the hotel with new decor and have great attention to detail so I'm sure once finished it will be amazing. It's location is...

"The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Evening meal and breakfast were very good. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom could do with some updating. Several significant cracks in the walls and evidence of water leaks around the heated towel rail and over bath shower head was leaking water out when running the bath taps. We only had one night so not really an issue for us."
