Franklin Terrace Bed and Breakfast

"We stayed at the Franklin Terrace Inn for three nights and weren’t quite sure what to expect, but we were so pleasantly surprised. The inn is quaint, exceptionally clean, and full of character, with lovely porches where we could relax and take in the beautiful view. What made our stay truly memorable, though, was Paul, the owner. He was extraordinarily friendly and accommodating and consistently went above and beyond to make us comfortable. This was our first trip traveling with our e-bikes, and we quickly realized we weren’t fully prepared for the rain. When I became concerned about the bikes getting wet, Paul brought out a tarp and helped me cover them each day. That small act of kindness meant so much to us and is a perfect example of how thoughtfully he cared for his guests. Each morning, Paul prepared an amazing breakfast using family recipes passed down from his mother. He shared wonderful stories and offered helpful recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. Most of all, he always made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. We arrived as guests but left feeling as though we had stayed with a friend. I can’t speak highly enough of Paul, the Franklin Terrace Inn, or the special memories we will carry home from our stay."

"Staff was friendly and helpful, room was very comfortable. The hall carpeting and bathroom caulking, although clean, looks a bit tired and worn. Safe location, good parking and easy to get in/out."

"Don’t let the pictures deceive you, the beds are clean and bug free, the front desk staff is helpful, friendly and will engage with you in conversation, the pillows are soft and the beds are comfortable! There is a great little Mexican restaurant straight across the street, McDonald’s right down the road and a dollar general. My stay was fantastic and I look forward to staying again! Thanks Frenchie for being so friendly and on top of things!- Adults On The Spectrum"
