"We had a nice short stay here. We found that the washrooms gave off a nursing home kind of vibe, but aside from that, everything was very comfortable, and we enjoyed our services at the spa. "

"Abbiamo prenotato il giorno stesso e probabilmente per un problema di connessione, al momento del nostro arrivo i proprietari non erano a conoscenza che noi avessimo prenotato una camera. Tuttavia, il sig. Calogero ci ha accolto capendo subito le nostre esigenze. La camera è arredata con mobili antichi ma molto spaziosa e pulita con tutto il necessario. Il letto è comodo. The stay was excellent tip top friendly staff and very efficient. Marilena is a very welcoming person she spared her time to have a little talk about the village and the culture. She is a very nice lady. The location is central parking is available near by the Via Eleonora D'Aragona and it's free of charge.
Local council needs to revive the village as all the attractions are being lost and it's a pity. Loved the tranquility and the rawness of the village.

MASSERIA DEL CARBOJ was one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily.
The setting is beautiful, with a fantastic pool area and stunning views over the vineyards. Dinner at sunset was a memorable experience, and the food and wine were excellent.
We met Marco at dinner and again the following morning. He was friendly, welcoming and clearly passionate about both the property and the local area. When we checked out, he gave us a personalised guide for the next stage of our journey, packed with...

We'd go back to Sicily just to stay here again. Loved it!! The welcome was wonderful, the rooms are charming, romantic, fun and well appointed. Breakfast was delicious and the dinner at the restaurant was 5 star. What a location to! The views out over land and see from the balconies (including roof top) are a show stopper in themselves but the town is also beautiful with every corner giving another wow moment of classic Sicily. Affordable luxury. If you get the chance, go. Thank you!

First rate experience. The staff could not have been more helpful, kind, attentive and welcoming. The room was most comfortable with good facilities including newly refurbished bathroom. Balcony with view of the park opposite was a bonus.
Breakfast was delicious with freshly cooked eggs to order and a wide range of foods, regularly replenished.
Limited on street parking. Central location. Delightful all round. Recommended!

Excellent hotel to relax, and if you play golf it is ideal, but you do need a car if you wish to visit any of the 'sights' on the island. Great setting, excellent rooms, staff all well trained and all provide a 5 star service. Ignore the whinging 'reviews' who complain about the prices, or trivia. This is a quality 5 star hotel in a wonderful setting - it isn't Butlins, Center Parcs, or McDonalds - so if you have noisy demanding sprogs - leave them at home.

Staff were very helpful, welcoming, and accommodating of our toddler. Room (Grecale, Superior Plus with terrace overlooking vineyards) was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean (if bed a little soft for my personal taste).
Pool area lovely for a sundowner glass of home-produced wine. Communal spaces very relaxing and stylishly decorated.
Breakfast was lovely, fresh, home made cakes.

An overnight stay to visit the nearby Archeological park, but I wish I could've stayed longer here, as hotel was ideally placed for both the park and short walk to the beach etc. Really big and comfortable room, with clean, modern bathroom and great shower. Breakfast buffet was very good with a decent selection of items. The staff were really helpful and made recommendations on places to eat and how to best get around the park. Lots of space for car parking outside the hotel, and it is just...

Very welcoming and helpful staff, beautiful location (although quite a way off the main road), buildings and restaurant. Fabulous food at dinner and breakfast, very pleasant period feel to the bedroom. Temples at Selinunte an absolute must to visit
