"Great property, near a shopping mall and public transportation. Just a 5 minute walk to buses and the tram. Staff were helpful. There was a nice restaurant and cafe. They did have air conditioning but it shut off (on a timer?) each night and we had to get up and turn it back on in the middle of the night each night."

"The four of us stayed at the Clontarf Castle Hotel for two nights just before our tour of Ireland. We had planned this stay for months and we were not disappointed. In fact, as we drove up the roadway to the hotel, we noticed the meticulously groomed gardens and sitting areas. it was wonderful first impression. "Couldn’t sleep room felt like a sauna. No aircon nor water bottles in room. Nothing in the mini fridge. Only a plug in desktop fan available. Gym in terrible state - 3 treadmills tested didn’t work. Very limited equipment. I kept & no water. Buffet breakfast was fine but took three goes to order the porridge which came different from ordered. Parking is an extra cost - have to grab a ticket on entrance then pass to reception to validate. Staff seemed very nice. Room kept very well...

Centrally located but tucked away on a quiet street, the hotel is modern, very clean, beds were super comfortable, food was always very fresh and tasty, and the staff super helpful. "Overall, I loved the hotel - the look, the bar and restaurant, the guitars to borrowed, the location. I didn’t like some things about the room - mainly what I would call an open floor plan bathroom - not a fan of the clear shower out in the room (although there is a curtain for privacy) the counter the length of the room with the sink in it, made the whole room feel cluttered. At least the toilet was more private."

"Overall we had a good stay. We arrived early in the morning and the staff members were helpful and pleasant. We were able to store our bags and even check in a little early. The breakfast was varied and good. Our room was dated and definitely expensive for it's quality. It was hot in Dublin while we were there and the A/C constancy stopped and started making it hot and also loud for sleeping."
