" 11 out of 10! There were four of us--two teens, myself (the mom) and my dad. I had a bit of a time finding reasonable accommodation that would fit us all, but the top floor suite was perfect! With two bathrooms, two bedrooms and a pullout sofa bed, everyone had their own bed (very comfortable beds too!) and space. "Large room and patio. The shower was actually hot unlike some hotel showers. The views from the back of the inn are great.
Breakfast included - and you won’t go hungry.

After being let down with our original booking, we found the Black Lion Hotel.
It's set in a small, quiet village near the river.
We had a superb evening meal, the pub was busy in both the bar and restaurant area all evening, which is always a good sign.... the food was superb, service was excellent
The room we stayed in was quiet, clean, the bathroom was a good size, the bed was comfy.

"Lovely staff, nice room. Definitely a little warm in the summer, but not unbearable. The restaurant and bar downstairs makes some very tasty traditional food, and the staff is absolutely lovely. It's also only a few steps from the train station, which is a HUGE bonus. I would absolutely stay here again."

"I have visited the quay on a number of occasions and it just gets better. The location is superb looking over the estuary, the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I would truly recommend the Quay hotel to anyone and lm sure they would not be disappointed. Shaun the manager runs a tight ship which certainly makes your stay enjoyable in all all departments.
