Hidden Gem

This place is a hidden gem and I was so iffy on booking it but I’m sooooo glad I did. This place is beautiful peaceful and so perfect. My mom enjoyed every moment and loved everything about this place. It was everything and more and the staff is the friendliest you will ever meet. I will be coming back again with my mom and family.

Moon River is a reTREAT from the world. Quiet nights and relaxing days allows guests to unwind from the modern world. Office personnel are so helpful and quick to offer assistance. Everything in our cabin and all around the grounds were so clean! We will be coming back again to spend more time and enjoy the safari and extra activities! Thank you for being amazing!

Shower Mushroom

This ranch is located in the middle of nowhere outside of Waco. They don’t offer any food or beverages so you have to make sure to bring it yourself or drive 20-30 minutes to nearest restaurant. The ranch itself was very pretty with all the animals and scenery. However, the room smelled like mold, there was a mushroom growing in the shower and a hole in the shower roof which looked like it will cave at any moment.

We recently stayed in the Jasmine cabin and found it to be very comfortable and clean, with a great location. We're excited to see the Ranch once all the additions are completed! Shy was friendly when we arrived, and the lady in the office over the weekend was great as well. It’s a beautiful location to spend quality time with family. Our grandson loved all the animals. We have a few suggestions for improvement: Transportation to Fishing Areas: Providing transportation to the fishing spots along the river would be highly beneficial. Beach 1 is over a mile, if not 2 miles, away, which is quite a long walk, especially with a 4-year-old who wants to fish. Renting an ATV at $100 an hour is not a feasible option for many families. Fire Pit Seating: The chairs around the fire pits at the cabins need to be replaced as they are worn out and uncomfortable. Pool Seating: Two chairs at the pool were broken and should be replaced to ensure a comfortable experience for all guests. We noted the very nice seating around the covered wagons and wish it was the same at our cabin. These improvements would greatly enhance the overall guest experience at Moon River Ranch.

AMAZING

Moon River Ranch is nestled in the middle of nowhere (Satin, Texas) and it sits on 650 acres! We booked the cozy farmhouse and it was enough space for our family of 6 with plenty room to spare. Yall, we woke up Saturday to Zebras, Wildebeest and Camels running and playing... now pause, if you know how much I love animals then you know I dropped a tear or 2. I think I had the most fun talking to the Ostriches as they attempted to eat my hair lol. ..I literally talked for 30mns and played with their feathers... The Safari took us miles out to get up close to: Bison, Addax, black and white tail deer, geese, Antelope and Llama. Archery, Fishing, swimming, Horse back riding and miles of great wilderness. Ms. Kishe Williams and the front office took care of us for the weekend and answered any questions we had. Do yourself a favor, go ahead and book with them, you won't regret it! Disclaimer: If you don't enjoy mosquitoes, flies, bees, wasps, bumblebees, chickens, roosters crowing, mice and subsequently snakes (iykyk), Texas Heat and outside rustic living then this is NOT for you! Lol As much as outside hates me this weekend was WORTH IT!

Hello do you think it's normal that I never received the code to enter my room when I had warned in advance that we were going to arrive late. After two hours of driving we arrived in front of the room without having the code we stayed 1h30 locked in our car because that night it was raining no one was there to give me the code I had not received it by email or by message I find it unacceptable because we were ready to spend the night in the car alone in a large parking lot until . We called several numbers we never had an answer until when we look on foot in the hotel we find an emergency number that was finally able to give us a code a very nice person from the hotel I find it unacceptable that expedita never sent us this famous code. In addition to the floor many places in this hotel was closed because of the work we will have liked to be kept informed of the Construction work in advance it will ruin our night.
