  • The Cameron Park Zoo in Waco, Texas is a terrific zoo! The zoo has a great range of animals and exhibits and the grounds are well kept and spacious. There's lots of shade to keep you somewhat cool during those hot Texan summer months if you visit during that time frame. The animal enclosures are nice, and can really give you great views of the animals themselves if you are a bit patient. This also makes for great photo views, as shown here with this photo of an approaching jaguar. Food and snack prices are also very reasonable, as are prices for souvenirs. This zoo makes for a great day out for the family.

Completely Disappointed With Mgmt and Owner

Very disappointed in this rental company. We didn’t stay. A surprise visit from our daughter and she wanted to join us in Waco to see her brother play. So 4 days out we asked to cancel because the space could not accommodate a third person. We were ignored by the property owner but 2 other management people said no, you can’t. So we booked at yet ANOTHER hotels.com property. We have a property and we host as well and we have always been accommodating because sometimes unavoidable things just happen. Needless to stay very disappointed and will certainly not recommend this place or this management company to anyone. This was an unfortunate reminder for us that some are not as considerate or understanding as other.
