This is a quirky and charming little property. We loved it. We had a two story room with large window and beautiful view of the cathedral from our bedroom. Our bathroom was on the first floor down a spiral staircase. Yes, it was delightfully quirky. This is a great place for those who shun standard square room.

La Lanterne

We had a wonderful stay at La Lanterne. Jana and Noel were excellent Hosts. They greeted us with refreshments on our arrival, and helped us to find parking for our car. Nothing was too much trouble for them. La Lanterne is in an idyllic location, just opposite the Cathedral and the Lantern des Morts. The terrace is cool and shady with plenty of room to sit and enjoy your lunch with a glass of wine, after a busy morning exploring Sarlat, especially on a Market day. Our room was spotlessly clean, with lovely views. We were sorry to leave, and would definitely stay here again
