"I read the reviews & felt like this hotel was worth trying because of the room type, location, & price.
I spent time in advance checking in so that I could speed up the process. Upon arrival (between 10-11 pm), the single express check-in kiosk was out of service. I waited in a line for a while as 1 employee checked people in. When it was my turn, the employee said he had something he needed to do & walked away. It was frustrating but understandable considering he was the only one up there without a working kiosk.
My room was the last room near a side exit door on the 1st floor. The main rear exit door to the back parking lot was out of service, so all night, the side exit doors were abruptly opening & slamming shut. I couldn't hear other guests through the walls, but that door opening & closing throughout the night was so loud I kept thinking it was my door, making sleep rough.
The room appeared very clean until I opened a kitchen cabinet to throw something away & saw that the garage from the previous guests hadn't been emptied. That was gross, but the room cleanliness was the best part of the stay otherwise. In the room, there was 1 dishwasher pod, 1 shampoo bottle, & 1 soap bar. No tissues, in-room coffee, or other "extras."
The next day, I came back to the hotel between 2-3 pm & my room key didn't work to open that side exterior door, so I had to walk around to the front & wait for an employee to fix my room key. He was polite & it worked consistently after that. "
