"Reid’s is a beautiful property with multiple pools and diving access to the ocean. Our stay involved changing rooms ( not the hotels fault), and not all rooms are the same. The first room had a walk in shower but the second room had a very slippery tub shower. There was construction going on during our stay that made for noisy afternoons. The food was really good and there are multiple restaurants, however, I would reserve a table in advance of your stay to guarantee your spot at dinner. The service was exceptional."

"The Evening buffet didn’t meet our expectations. It had overdone meat in several different options. The food wasn’t hot and the salads were almost gone. We both didn’t think it was worth the money. "If it’s your first time in Madeira I’d suggest staying somewhere in city center, it takes 15 mins to get to this hotel. Very nice property and amenities. The staff and service is weak , shortage of staff. The breakfast buffet for a 5 starvhotel and the price was so weak as weak."
