Muy buena localización y vista espectacular, Ocean View. Siempre estuvo limpio. El personal fue muy amable y servicial. Hay seguridad en el hotel. Los cuartos son grandes y espaciosos. A la habitación le hacía falta una silla ya que solo posee las camas y el gavetero. Además, hacía falta algo para colocar la maleta y no tenerla que poner sobre la cama siempre. El baño es muy espacioso. La ducha muy buena. Sin embargo, el lavamanos carecía de espacio para colocar los productos de higiene tales como cepillo de dientes, pasta dental, scrubs, cremas, entre otros, que nos gusta tener justo al lado cuando se utilizan. En general, fue muy buena estadía en el Malecón de Santo Domingo.

Suite 1001 with the ocean view and bathtub, INCREDIBLE view, tub experience is great, very spacious room, beds are comfortable and breakfast is healthy BUT Few things I’d say they need to work on. 1. when it rains the water filters through the concrete ceiling near the window causing even potential hazard since the electrical outlet gets saturated by the water. 2. electrical plugs aren’t close to bed making it a little hard to place your phone near you when charging or at least in places where it’s not reasonable to get to 3. Not much on amenities like a clothe iron, just water on the fridge with not much selection to choose from. Almost like a Airbnb where you would have to come prepared with your own items 4. Parking indoors is super tight so you have to squeeze between cars so much so it becomes hard to open the door. Have to strategize to park well 5. Employee barged in the room at 3 am in the morning uninvited assuming it was empty without confirming with the front desk or knocking. Guy apologized but communication is needed. 6. Room service, has yet to be established and ongoing construction is still taking place Other than that still was an amazing experience overall

Our experience was disappointing. There was no room service available. The toilet did not flush correctly, and the shower water drained very slowly. Breakfast was below average. The staff appeared unfriendly and unapproachable, making us feel uneasy about asking questions or requesting assistance.

Absolutely — here’s the updated version with that important detail included: --- **Title: Beautiful Lobby, But Felt Like Sleeping in a Nightclub** We had high hopes when we booked Mauad Hotel — it’s new, the lobby is gorgeous, and the service at check-in was excellent. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. The rooms were a major disappointment and didn’t match the upscale look of the lobby. Furniture felt low-quality, and simple amenities like bathrobes, slippers, and proper toiletries were missing. Even the air freshener was overpowering, and there were no plugs in the bathroom for a hair dryer. We have stayed at dozens of hotels in Santo Domingo and many more internationally, and we have *never* experienced anything like this. Our biggest issue — the noise. We were traveling with our two young daughters, and both nights we stayed, the bass and music were unbelievably loud. The first night we didn’t realize it was coming from the hotel, but the second night we complained around 9pm. We were told a private rooftop party would finish by 12:30am. After 1am, it only got worse. We changed rooms multiple times (from the 11th floor to the 9th, and later again down the hall), but the music continued — eventually coming from the hotel’s own disco. It was after 3am before we found a room that was only *slightly* quieter. The staff did try to help by moving us, but nothing truly resolved the problem. If you want to stay inside a nightclub, this is it.

My recent stay at the Mauad Hotel Boutique was genuinely exciting! You can tell this place is brand new and super stylish—it's got tons of potential and a modern luxury vibe. The hospitality was genuine right from the start; the Front Desk staff during check-in were seriously outstanding, setting a world-class standard for warmth and efficiency. They deserve major praise! The hotel feels really fresh, but you can see they're still putting on the final touches while construction wraps up. The only little letdown was the check-out staff, who weren't as friendly as the crew when I arrived. Honestly, the few things they missed in the rooms are so simple to fix, which is awesome because it means quick improvements are ahead. They just need a few basic things to make the rooms five-star: a full-length mirror, a hook for towels in the bathroom, a proper electrical outlet near the vanity, a small shelf to act as a nightstand on either side of the beds, and a bench or suitcase rack at the foot of each bed. The true star of the show is the speakeasy club, La Biblioteca. It's nothing short of amazing—it’s super trendy, upscale, and beautifully designed. The vibe for a high-end night out is perfect.

I stayed at Hotel Mauad from Nov 19–23 and had a very positive experience. The property is beautiful, modern, and still very new. The lobby is stunning, the rooms are spacious with comfortable beds, and the staff were consistently friendly, bilingual, and genuinely welcoming. There are some areas that could be improved as the hotel finishes opening: hallways are noisy with rolling luggage, the bathroom sink/outlet setup is awkward, and the room could use more furniture. The nightclub’s shared entrance creates crowding during peak hours. Still, the staff, especially Mr. Báez, made my stay exceptional. With a few refinements, this hotel has real potential to become a top choice in Santo Domingo.

The hotel was very nice, its not completely open and its missing some details but it was very good. The staff was excellent. My suite was missing some details like night table with lamp, more lighting in the bathroom mirror, a mirror outside the bathroom, us womens need a mirror☺️. Even with all the details missing it was a good experience. I would definitely go back. The discote was awesome!

Hello, I am requesting a refund for our recent stay, as the hotel was clearly not ready to open and the experience was far below expectations. We encountered multiple issues during our stay, including: • Cold shower with no hot water • AC not working • Lack of beverages and several food items • Loud music throughout the night, which made it difficult to sleep • Overall unpreparedness of the property This was especially disappointing because we were there to celebrate our cousin’s wedding, and these issues significantly impacted our stay.
