"I had an excellent stay at the Embassy Suites in Santo Domingo. What really stood out the most was the staff. Every interaction felt genuine - everyone was incredibly helpful, attentive, and seemed almost intuitive about what guests might need before you even had to ask. That level of service makes a big difference when traveling, and they consistently delivered it. The pool area is another highlight of the property. It’s beautiful during the day if you want to relax and get some sun, but it’s especially nice at night when the lighting and atmosphere make it feel like a great place to unwind after a long day. Breakfast was also excellent. There were plenty of options, so it’s easy to find something for everyone, and the made-to-order omelette station was particularly good. It’s a great way to start the day. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, and the shower was fantastic - large, clean, and exactly what you want after a long day out in the city. Overall, this is a great place to stay in Santo Domingo, with standout service, comfortable rooms, and amenities that make the stay feel relaxing and easy."

"Wasn't what I expected. Unable to use pool before 10a. No bathtub, thought I booked a room with a tub. Minibar was out and out banditry! Breakfast was awesome! Was never informed where anything was, restaurant, pool, gym...had to gind it on my own."

"You can see the ocean yes, but the room is not whats seen in the pictures.. they are outdated.. the front desk agent said he was upgrading us to a king suite instead of the room with the double bed.. we got in the room and the king bed was the only thing nice about the room.. no sheets on the pull out bed..and no free shuttle to airport ask marketing discribes you have to get an uber or taxi.. it not worth it"
