Hotel good, check in very bad

Only stayed 1 night as moving on elsewhere the following morning. We arrived late due to flight delay and unfortunately the man on reception didn't seem to have a clue what he was doing. We gave him a copy of the booking but all he could do was shake his head! He spoke no English and we spoke no Spanish. Fortunately another guest who was staying there did speak Spanish and explained to him. It then turned out he had the information he needed printed out in front of him with all our details. Thankfully he realised then and gave us the room key. It was a shame for him too as he was very confused. I do wonder what would have happened if the other guests hadn't stepped in and helped. We left the following morning and the lady on reception was lovely! Have stayed once before and had no problems.

Hyvässä paikassa oleva hotelli. Vieressä hyvä supermarket. Ranta kävelymatkan päässä. Hyvä aamupala ja kuntosali. Uima-altaan vesi melko kylmää joulukuussa (seinällä sanottiin 21 asteista. Vain muutama kävi nopeasti uimassa). Astianpesuaina ja harja/sieni puuttuivat (tylsä ostaa muutaman käytön takia).

Excellent position lovely staff

A family of five- our children are now three young adults for a week, had a very good holiday. Two beaches easy walking distance, lots of restaurants and a supermarket. Good buffet breakfast and very helpful friendly staff. A very relaxed atmosphere and restful. Easy to catch the bus to Siam Park or be picked up to go to the volcano. Pleasant walks around the peninsular to view Los Gigantes. Lovely sea view from the apartment. Shuttle from the airport delivered us to the door.

Wir waren insgesamt 8 Tage im Dragos del Sur und es hat uns wirklich gefallen. Das Frühstücksbüffet hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen, es war zu jeder Zeit genügend von allem da und die Vielfalt war klasse! Die Lage ist ruhig, allerdings sollte man überlegen, ob man sich ein Mietauto holt, denn die großen Sehenswürdigkeiten sind alle mindestens 1 Stunde Autofahrt entfernt. Die Autovermietung ist auch vor Ort buchbar.

Hotel oceniam pozytywnie. Jest położony w świetnej okolicy (bardzo blisko sklepy, restauracje, kafejki), dobra baza wypadowa do zwiedzania wyspy. Jeśli chodzi o sam pokój: - schludnie urządzony, - duży (oddzielna sypialnia), - kuchnia wyposażona w mikrofale, kuchenkę elektryczną, ekspres przelewowy, toster, czajnik elektryczny, lodowka (na minus: brak płynu do mycia naczyń, brudne fronty szafek kuchennych).

Fantastisches Hotel in ruhiger Strandnähe

Dieses ruhige Aparthotel ist sehr zu empfehlen. Das Apartment (45 m2) hat ein Wohnzimmer mit Küche, ein Schlafzimmer, ein Bad und WC und einen großen Balkon mit Blick auf das Meer. Das Zimmerservice war super und das reichhaltige Frühstücksbüfett war hervorragend.Es war auch sehr leicht, ganz in der Nähe einen Parkplatz zu finden. Wir haben wirklich einen sehr schönen Urlaub in diesem Hotel verbracht.

Conveniently placed hotel

We stayed in one of the apartment rooms which enabled us the flexibility of preparing own food if necessary, we had breakfast included. This hotel was conveniently located for all facilities Puerto De Santiago had to offer, very short walk to supermarket, car hire company, range of restaurants and coastal walk to Los Gigantes. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was excellent offering a wide range of options which changed regularly. The air conditioned room was spotlessly clean and spacious, we stayed as a family of 4, towels and bedding changed regularly. The only negative about the room was the beds were very hard but that is the only negative we had about our stay, The fourth floor swimming pool and bar area were also spotlessly clean with a fantastic view across the sea.

Gutes Hotel in ruhiger Gegend

Ich war vom 26.03.-31.03., also für 6 Tage mit meinem Freund in diesem Hotel. Wir hatten einen insgesamt guten Eindruck. Gebucht hatten wir ein Appartment mit Meerblick inklusive Frühstücksbuffett. Bucht man dies nicht dazu, kann man für täglich 6,95 € das Buffett in der Zeit von 07:30 bis 10:30 Uhr noch dazu buchen vor Ort. Gleiches gilt für ein Abendbuffett, ist für 12,95 € auch noch dazu buchbar. Haben wir allerdings nie wahrgenommen. Das Appartment war recht groß mit gut ausgestatteter Küchenzeile (Kühlschrank vorhanden, Mikrowelle auch, aber kein Herd!). Das Bad ist klein, Badewanne mit Duschvorhang, Fön ist gegen Kaution erhältlich.In der dritten Etage befindet sich die Poolanlage. Diese ist sehr klein und absolut UNBEHEITZT! Wer Pools nur für eine Abkühlung benötigt, dem wird es reichen, länger als 5 Minuten hält man es ohne große Bewegung darin allerdings nicht aus. Dagegen bieten die umliegenden Sonnenliegen mit Schirm ausreichend Gelegenheit zum sonnen und die anliegende Poolbar ist von 11 Uhr bis 22 Uhr geöffnet. Der junge Soccorista kann auch ausgezeichnete Cocktails und Longdrinks mischen und ist super freundlich. Auf der 8. Etage kann man dann aufs Dach des Hotels, welches noch einmal Liegen für ein ausgiebiges Sonnenbad bietet sowie Duschen zur Abkühlung. Allerdings keinen weiteren Pool! Das Personal an der Rezeption und auch im Essbereich sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Bien situé et agréable

Séjour d'une semaine très agréable dans cette résidence. Appartement très spacieux, balcon avec vue sur mer. Bonne situation, proche commerces et restaurants, et à moins de 10 minutes à pied d'une plage (arena). Il est facile de se garer dans le secteur. Avec une voiture, il est facile de partir à la journée pour explorer toute l'île. Petit déjeuner buffet très copieux.

Excellent place to stay in an excellent location

Extensive choice at breakfast, both cooked and continental. Buffet evening meal was good value for money. We would certainly use this hotel if we are back in the area. The one thing we would have liked was a more secure area to leave cases after checking out if we have a late pickup.

Tolle große Zimmer

Das Hotel ist durch die Küstenstraße von einer Felsbucht getrennt. Zum Badestrand läuft man ca 10 min. Es hat sehr schöne große Zimmer. Das Frühstück ist gut; viel Auswahl. Der Poolbereich ist ok mit einer kleinen Poolbar. Preis Leistung stimmt!

Great Hotel, Perfect Location!

Our stay at Hotel Dragos del Sur could not have been better. We had a gorgeous view of the ocean. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, suggesting activities and the best way to get around. Hotel was a 5 minute walk from two different beaches and a 15 minute walk to a natural pool with a gorgeous view of Los Gigantes. Easy access to great activities such as visiting Mt.Tiede or the Masca Trail (could walk back to the hotel from where the boat drops you off). For the rate, this hotel exceeded all of our expectations. Room was nice and had plenty of space. Pool deck was gorgeous for the times we did not feel like going to the beach. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone!
