"The air conditioning was excellent. The staff were kind and helpful. The location could not be better! In the center of Baixa and walkable to everything! "Every time we went somewhere in the hotel we saw people working…cleaning, helping customers. It was a good feeling. Only issue I had was the size of the bathroom. Shower was ok but try to dry off when you step out. And no room for any bags or more than an item or two by the sink to finish up. The closet was the weirdest I’ve ever seen…in the eves!! We were on the top floor so I guess they made do with the room they had lol. Can’t speak for rooms on the other floors. It was a great location as well!!"

"The hotel is a gem in an area that is not well kept. The open square across the street is not maintained and appears to be the home of several vagrants, but there are enough thriving shops and restaurants outlining the square to make up for the detraction of the square itself. The hotel? It was great. Rooms were clean and quiet, the clerks spoke English and were very accommodating."
