"The ocean facing room was spacious and spotless with a large outdoor deck, complete with chairs, table and umbrella and basket swing. The staff were all awesome - so helpful and friendly all around. The breakfasts were wonderful - Mexican choices a la carte. Special thanks to Jose, Freddy, Francisco, Ada and the rest of you. Hope to see you all again. "

"Rooms are quality and staff is very friendly and helpful. Restaurant has some great food, but it’s a bit expensive. Two things to note; surprisingly small pool area for how many rooms and the area is very underdeveloped. Definitely an older crowd vibe. The hotel would benefit by enforcing a bit more etiquette at the pool area around reversing sun beds, the people staying at the resort during our stay hogged the chairs and acted like they owned the place. The area has no cell reception, no stores, no ATM, only a few restaurants however the beach is epic and not busy whatsoever. "

"Really enjoyed it. Have a great time. However, it was advertised that there was four restaurants – the seafood restaurant was not open the entire three weeks we were there. We do not eat sushi. Totally unhappy about that. That left us with only two restaurants and buffet – so for variety we had to go out to restaurants which added to our costs. Advertise four restaurants only give you three – false advertising."

"The restaurant at the hotel is amazing. Great view and best food we tried in the region. The hotel is clean and well maintained. We had a very comfortable stay. Would recommend if you’re visiting Huatulco. It’s walking distance to Playa Arrocito, however a taxi ride of 10 mins will be required to get to the city center Crucesita area as well as other playas in the area."

"I would highly recommend spending a little extra for a room with a private pool. We made great use of ours, along with the spacious balcony. The room itself was a good size, clean, and comfortable. Because it’s a smaller property, the hotel felt quiet and relaxed, and the main pool and beach area were never crowded. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the bed was very comfortable — it was also extremely quiet at night, making for a great sleep. We enjoyed the food at the hotel restaurant, though we found it quite expensive — roughly double the price of similar meals in La Crucecita, which is about a 10-minute taxi ride (around 100 pesos). There are also a few restaurants within a 15–20 minute walk if you prefer to stay nearby. A kettle or microwave in the room would have been a nice addition for making tea or heating small items. The hotel has a unique look and lots of character, surrounded by trees, lush vegetation, and birds. The hillside location offers amazing views — my favorite moments were watching the sunrise from the balcony, taking a morning dip in the private pool, and listening to the birds. While the property is older and could use some updates, it was clean and full of charm, which mattered more to us than a modern but characterless resort."
