"The day before ous stay we were informed that they had no room for us the first day. The alternative they offered was not an option in any way. The staff at the hotel was most friendly, but how this was managed is not nice on a planned vacation. "The property is 3 locations in consecutive blocks with expansion underway. We had an issue with our room but were contacted before arrival to explain an alternative by Anna. When we arrived mid afternoon the property was not accessible but a complementary buggy was sent down to collect us. We arrived at a large gated doorway. The doors opened and an oriented theme reception area was hidden behind the gates. Amazing. Our first night we were in an alternative room but moved to an amazing room for the rest of our stay. The pools are better in palazzo presto than the other sister properties. Nina and the staff were incredibly accommodating And we loved the experience"

"We arrived early and were offered use of the pool, changing room and lunch. Our room was ideal, and well fitted (although no kettle, available on request). It was nice and quiet, both by the pool and in the room, and an easy 5 minute walk to the beachfront with cafes, bars and shops. We had a car and parking was easy, so it made this hotel an ideal base to explore the Salento area and Gallipoli. All the staff were friendly, both on the desk and at breakfast which was a buffet style with some hot options. On departure we were again offered an room extension, use of the pool all day and the Spa to freshen up. All in all could not be faulted."

"Hotel was very helpful with recommendations on places to see and places to eat not only in gallipoli but tricase porto, otranto, and galetina. Also made reservations for us. They were particularly helpful wither parking lot, which is 850 meters from hotel. They had us call ten minutes before arriving in gallipoli and jetty was waiting for us at garage to pick up luggage and take us into old town-no cars. Also fast service to get us to car for drives around area and pickups. We should have stayed 1 or 2 more nights because located nicely in old town near lots of activities."

"We spent the most incredible 6 nights at the Palazzo. The property was spectacular and the rooms were clean and well maintained. The hospitality team was always available to provide recommendations and to answer any questions both in-person and via WhatsApp. The beach, the main piazza and various restaurants were all just a few steps away. The photos truly do not do the Palazzo justice. We look forward to returning again soon and are very grateful for the help and guidance of Valentina, Barbara and especially Oscar! Grazie."

"Our rooms were wonderful. The hotel is very unique, every room is different and well appointed. Breakfast was delicious as was the afternoon/ evening bar service with Martina. The pool area is great in the afternoon, shady and relaxing. But best of all - the young ladies at the front desk. So helpful and pleasant. The shuttle service from the harbour parking lot is greatly appreciated. I can’t recommend this hotel enough."

"The location was perfect in my opinion. On the main street right near the bridge to the old town. The old town is too inconvenient and touristy and crowded for an extended stay (I was there for a week), so I was glad to be just outside of it. The hotel could be reached by taxi or tour van and there are many shops and restaurants along this stretch. The hotel has a modern appearance and some comfortable chairs out front, like a front porch, which is a nice touch. On the other hand, there were certain negatives. Although the reception staff was always helpful and cheerful, the rest of the staff was much less so. The woman at breakfast seemed to loom judgingly as I selected my food, as though it were coming out of her salary, and the room cleaners were always a bit annoyed. They were also not very efficient and although they came in the room almost every day, they worked haphazardly. The elevator broke down after 3 or 4 days and was still broken when I left. The shower was cheap plastic and narrower than necessary. The TV only sometimes worked and then very badly."
