"We stayed at Hotel Balneari Termes Orion for 3 nights at the end of May 2026 to attend the wedding of a friend who got married close by. Friendly, helpful staff, who were very accommodating. The breakfast buffet is great, with lots of options, worth spending the extra money. Lovely cocktails at the bar too. "We found Mataro to be a great place from which to come and go to Barcelona a this hotel was an easy place to stay. Just a walk along the waterfront to get to the train! The rooms are pretty basic but clean and adequate. The breakfast is good. Staff were lovely and helpful."

"Although the property says parking is available, it’s only general public street parking. You have to circle many times to find a spot. There is no specific parking for hote guests. Also, the pool is not open to children, and this is not mentioned on the website. The rooms were bare and super basic, and much closer to 3 stars than 4. Had I known these things, I would have booked elsewhere. The staff was very kind and the restaurant location (facing the beach) were great."

"We stayed here while attending the Catalunya MotoGP and it was a great base, only around a 30-minute drive to the circuit. The hotel was clean, comfortable and had a much more relaxed atmosphere compared to the busy tourist areas. We used the Nuus restaurant most evenings and also spent time at the outside bar, both of which were really enjoyable.
