"Friendly and very helpful staff."

"Calme, très jolie."

"Such a beautiful and quiet place! The staff were wonderful and helpful. Supper was delicious local specialties. Breakfast was great with custom eggs and lots of selection. Their wine is excellent! We would totally recommend staying at this small, family run Quinta."

"Tout est parfait dàs cet hotel, personnel très sympa "

"Casa Dona Édite was a wonderful stop on our trip. The guest house is simply wonderful with beautiful shared spaces, immaculate rooms and a simply breath taking location. Breakfast was delicious with home made items and Persimmon, grown on the property. The owners were warm and inviting, full of excellent recommendations including delicious tapas at a local cafe and a gorgeous walk through the village with their dog as a talented and attentive guide! (When you stay here you MUST walk to the trees...

"Everything was great except the shower was a little annoying since you had to press every 45 seconds or so because it would turn off automatically. The breakfast wasn’t much of a breakfast ham and cheese, bread and cereal. Other than that the staff was friendly it was clean and it was in a cute little village."

"Loved the location of this hotel up in the hills above Pinhao. Wonderful views from our balcony down over the terraced vineyards to the Douro river below. Incredibly quiet and peaceful spot. Also liked the hotel bar. There’s not much going on in Pinhao at night, but the LBV bar has a nice gathering of guests from all over and a good menu of salads, drinks and other light fare. Rooms are small as with just about all new boutique hotels these days, but very clean snd nice."

"Our stay at Quinta da Faísca was truly magical and one of the absolute highlights of our trip! We loved being there in the off-season, when everything was peaceful, quiet, and almost surreal. The location is spectacular, with breathtaking vineyard views from every room. Morning coffee overlooking the vines and evening wine as the sun went down were moments we will never forget. The accommodations were fabulous, with beautiful craftsmanship throughout. Hand-laid stone, warm woods, gorgeous...

"Amazing location! Beautiful property. Super helpful staff. Local food and wine available."

"Lovely location overlooking the river, fabulous restaurant for breakfast or dinner. A place we keep coming back to, both for dining and accommodation. Very comfortable and peaceful. And it’s all about the peace above a lazy river… we’ll be back again."

"Je vous recommande fortement ce petit hotel ultra charmant !! Comme si nous étions a la maison , accueillie de façon remarquable par Marco !! La vue est impressionnante et le dejeuner wow tout cela avec un service impeccable!"

"Beautiful property immersed in nature. The views, architecture, pool and plants were stunning. Food at the restaurant was excellent. A really unique stay."

"Something went wrong and staff did not respond with urgency. They gave the wrong information and did not follow-up with me. Any hotel can pore a glass of wine, make a bedroom clean but when you are traveling certain things need to be dealt with when something goes wrong. And then you can see the quality of the staff. No apologies, nothing."

"Mr. Amadeu was very kind and helpful when we checked in very late at midnight. We had car accident and went to hospital before last minute booking and checking in. Mr. Amadeu knew that we had trouble with late night food and brought us some available from the kitchen to survive the night. We were very much appreciated. Then for the next 2 days we were very fortunate to get big help from Mr. Vitor during his day shift duty. He helped discussing, negotiating and managing our accident trouble with...
