"great process to check in. plenty of onsite parking for a minimal fee. next door to some great restaurants (willie G and Fishermans Warf ( went during the week for great happy hour specials at both locations). Good continental breakfast, nice size rooms, quiet .... kudos to Dee at the front desk. "

"No front desk due to renovation being done which was not mentioned when making reservations.had one elevator which you had to go outside to use was on 5th floor made one trip in elevator then it quit working had to walk 5 floors of stairs then on top of that the fire alarm went off blaring and flashing lights in room three times during the night "

"Run down maze. Hard to access as only one elevator. Rust stained floors and bathroom fixtures. Just old. But— Good beds and clean bedding"

"Breakfast was pretty good. Front desk staff (nightshift) is welcoming and helpful. Property is old however on par with the price range. Overall, a good stay. "

"The views were excellent. I knew going into the stay that the property itself was “nostalgic“. I honestly felt this was charming, but I understand that some people like fully updated hotels. This is very reminiscent of another time. With that said, it was clean, and it was comfortable. The lady at the front desk when we checked in was less than friendly. The ladies serving breakfast were amazingly friendly! We loved the adjoining restaurant. The hotel is within walking distance to many fun attractions. We would absolutely stay here again."

"Great stay! We had a blast spending 2 extra nights of our trip here after we got stranded in Galveston due to ice and snow shutting down the Dallas airport and we went to the aquarium and the rainforest pyramids. Our 8 year old loved them! The staff was wonderful and very helpful. "

"Pool was down for maintenance so didnt get to use it which was a bummmer. Rooms could use some updating and some handles were broken on some doors still loked to property and will stay agian indeed!"
