"This hotel is on a large property with a spacious courtyard. Our room had a small balcony which we enjoyed. Hearst Castle, Elephant Seals (and Otters!), the light house, and Moonstone beach are all short drives away. Parking is easy. We had an issue with the first room we were given, but the front desk quickly assigned us to another room. They ask to let them know if you are arriving late. The Big Sur restaurant next door makes a reliable breakfast with American and Mexican-American choices. San...

"The property was nothing outstanding. It was adequate and clean. Parking was convenient as it's a small lot. What made it alright was it's location on moonstone beach. It's an older motel property that was upgraded and rooms remodeled, and I think $700+ for two nights was overpriced. They did serve a continental breakfast that was ok, if you wanted something light. "A great hotel for the family including small dogs! With a heated pool, game room, fire pits and yard the hotel has plenty to entertain my teens. The ocean being across the street was wonderful! The rooms were comfy and the staff was so kind. All of this within a 4 minute drive to Cambria, CA and San Simeon, CA. "
