"Very friendly staff and we were very late to our room at 12 am. The office closes around 9 - 10pm but I called and got instructions how to get into my room. SO Helpful 😁 Thank you for the clean room driving 6 hours and crashing on a clean bedroom was blissful 🛌🌙"

"Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and tidy-oddly arranged-refrigerator right next to the entrance and blocking ability to exit one of the two queens from the left hand side. Shower was very small. Light switch by door either was broken or didn’t connect to anything, hair dryer in the bathroom did not work. Beds was clean and comfortable, good available parking, and near tourist attractions, Cambria and the ocean."

They don’t take credit cards, more than 1 hour wait(arrived 7pm got seated 8:25pm) but food and staff were excellent. Hotel staff didn’t give other restaurant options. No cell service in the area."

"It is/was a Motel 6 rebranding. Cheap, uncomfortable furniture. The bed was old and springs were bad. Sheets were thin. Shower didn't drain. Toilet ran. It was not handicap accessible."

The complimentary breakfast is a definite plus—there was a great variety of hot and cold options, and the coffee was always fresh. The location is ideal, situated in a quiet, safe neighborhood within walking distance to beach and fine dining. Best of all, the rates are incredibly affordable for the quality you get. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. A very good find!"

"The last time we stayed here, it was still called San Simeon Pines. While the rooms have been updated in design, everything has been mostly preserved. Still a charming place to stay when at Moonstone Beach, farther away from the rest of the hotels but still walkable. Check-in was easy and staff very friendly. "The inn was a beautiful stay! If you can make it happen, spring for the balcony room. We were serenaded by frogs at night by the creek, and cows mooing in the morning! We loved it! The beds were insanely comfy and so much was within walking distance. Highly recommend!"

"We stayed upstairs in the refurbished, newer bldg. where breakfast is prepared. The young lady who runs the kitchen does an outstanding job, cooking excellent hot foods and arranging other items in a nice buffet style. The check-in and checkout procedure is so simple that no staff needs to be involved and paperwork is not required. Afterhours, no problem either. The room is thoroughly clean, but a few minor mechanical issues could use some attention. Overall it's a great B & B that provides...
