This is a lovely and stylish little hotel in the centre of San Sebastian, with none of the main sights too far of a walk away. When we checked in we were greeted warmly by the receptionist who asked about our trip, gave us a map and marked out her personal favourite highlights. The room was lovely, nice and spacious with (and this is a first for me) three balconies, one of which was incorporated into the room itself and the other two outside. We had a view of the cathedral which was nice although it's covered in scaffolding and being renovated at the moment and there was building noise during the working week from 8am to 5pm. Breakfast was a relaxed affair, never too busy in the breakfast room around the corner from reception, hosted by the same friendly helpful chap the whole time we were there. The only points of order I will say are that there wasn't a wardrobe, only a rack with a few hangers over the safe and kettle (which wasn't really enough space to hang anything substantial so we left our clothes in our suitcases), and the Expedia hotel details say that the hotel has a bar and restaurant - it doesn't, it has a breakfast room, and rooms have a mini bar (the only alcohol in there being two beers). But these are minor quibbles. We enjoyed our stay here.
