"This hotel is very clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The check-in process was easy and effortless. Upon arriving, my boyfriend and I were greeted by the doorman and he took our suitcases while we checked in. We speak little to no Spanish, however all the staff are bilingual. "This is such a unique property and so centrally located in Cartagena. The room is very unique- at the very top roof level of the property, if you have mobility issues or are uneasy on your feet I’d recommend booking one of the other rooms at the property. This one is accessed by a very tight, steep, winding staircase up to the room and the room itself exists on three separate floors- stairs up from the bedroom to the hot tub/patio, stairs down from the bedroom to the bathroom. "Excellent location and highly attentive staff. The women in house keeping throughly cleaned the rooms and entire hotel daily. Breakfast is a quick and not too heavy to start the day. Simple but tasty menu with different freshly squeezed regional juices, fruit and eggs as the base. To top it off very sweet and kind staff. "I did not like that the reception staff from the evening to the next morning did not speak a single word of English. Made it very hard to communicate and order a very early taxi pick up. Although I had aldready booked this with the English speaking guy upon arrival. The morning guy was clueless."
