The property was great Fabio and his family were excellent. It is a little far away from anything and cabs are hard to get but I really didn’t try that hard. I found that if I walked to the road there was always someone eating to give me a ride into town on the back of a motorcycle for 200 pesos. Very good value and relaxing cabins are really cool. I enjoyed myself. If you want a nice relaxing time it’s the place if you like to party then it is not a good match. I recommend it for sure.

I love this place, but I feel a bit weird writing a review, because after our vacation, I feel like our family has become friends with the host family... This place wonderful -- but maybe not for everyone! This place is still evolving. When we went there, it had only been in business for about six months. If you need all the most modern toys and conveniences, then look elsewhere. (For example, when we stayed, there was no air conditioning, but this was fine because the owner had designed the houses to have excellent airflow. You really don't need A/C! And at night, you will probably need a light blanket!) But if you want a true vacation, where afterwards you feel you really have relaxed, decompressed, and recharged, this place is wonderful. The biggest factor is the host family: wonderful people. Warm, genuine, really lovely. In particular, Bayahibe is already known to be a safer destination in DR for women, especially solo travelers, but Eco-hotel feels extra safe because of the care and warmth of the host and his family. Our family really enjoyed this place, and fell in love with their family... Fantastic!

Everything about our stay was wonderful. Great location, friendly boss and family and very clean rooms. We loved the pool and the quiet atmosphere of the hotel. We wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else next time we are in town. Highly recommended!"

It’s a very unique spot to experience not only the local culture but people from all around the globe. Management was incredible, very attentive, flexible, kind and informative. My husband and I stayed only one night but we’ll like to come back with our kids so that they may also enjoy the unique experience.

this charming, hostel-like property has a warm, personal touch, as the owner built it himself with great attention to detail in the cabins and shared spaces. traveling solo, i always felt safe here. communication was clear, and the owner was incredibly helpful and approachable. while transportation and dining options in the area are limited, you can connect with taxi drivers in the bayahibe city center who will happily arrange pickups for you.

The property is super beautiful and the owner is super helful, nice and happy. The whole house full of happiness from owners family to neighbour and the guest. I had littel trouble finding the property but owner picked me up from the tourist center of that area, and I appreciate that. If any suggestion, put a sign or two at the major road and the turn(just like another bnb place next door) but I am surw he will do it soon.
