The staff friendly, registration took only a few minutes. The room was clean and comfortable. From the back door, the shops and local Mission were only a short walk away. I would recommend this lovely, quiet place to stay.

My room was attractive, spacious, with a true balcony where I sat outside comfortably, admiring the view. The amenities were beyond what I expected of the room: whirlpool, candies, two sinks. The continental breakfast offered was generous, varied, and delicious. The staff was gracious and helpful. When I learned that the hotel was family-owned, I could see the care, taste, and attention to detail in making the hotel a comfortable, pretty, tasteful retreat. I'd return anytime to Posada de San Juan!

The hotel is centrally located for all the sites in town so you can walk to everything and basically equally distant to Santa Cruz or Monterey depending on where you'd like to go. The rooms are clean, the service was good and parking was safe and well-lit.
