D Sabana Hotel San José
Good place. Good restaurants, the market, and Sabana park all in easy walking distance. Clean room. Has a different name on everything from last hotel iteration, (we had to ask to make sure we were in the right place. )

Beautiful property. The grounds are gorgeous, the pool was great too. Close to the airport and free shuttle.

Property was nice, staff ok. Fairly quiet. Location is super close to the airport which was convenient. Rooms seemed small but acceptable. Bed was very uncomfortable and not good if you have spine or body issues.

Homewood Suites By Hilton Cariari San Jose
Very clean and well appointed hotel. We loved the salt water pool and outdoor air hockey games. Free 24 hour coffee was a plus too! Probably the most convenient aspect was the 4am shuttle to the airport. Other hotels in the area don’t start their shuttles until 5:15 am.
