"We stayed the night before our departure. Located close from the airport and right next to the mall. We enjoyed their buffet style breakfast. The shuttle takes you to the airport every 30 minutes which was very convenient for us since we didn’t have a car."

"Lovely tranquil setting not too far from the airport but away from the city bustle. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the staff kind and helpful. The property has a lovely garden with a small trail. The central areas and dining room feel slightly dated."

"I was there for one night and chose this hotel because it is close to the airport and the hotel shuttle was free. The hotel staff were all very helpful and responsive. I was not able to lower the seat, and within 5 minutes, 3 different people tried to help and the chair was replaced. I also needed to change my $20 bill, and again they were very helpful. Breakfast was wonderful, with a variety of options. Of course it was not like a huge hotel's offering, but I was happy with it. "

"This is such a special place! Great staff, amazing location, superb architecture. They are tidying up the rooms and they look great. Same classic style and colors. The waterfall paths are in great shape again. Nothing like it in San Jose... The only thing they need is better power near the beds. Travellers have a lot of electrical devices these days...."

"The room was very clean; the staff was helpful. I liked how the breakfast time was not short it was from 6:00 -10:00 so it didn't force you to wake up early on vacation. The menu was different I assume it was authentic Costa Rican breakfast but you def was able to find something to eat. I didn't go to the bar but coming in and out of the property I saw a lot of guests sitting at the bar so it seemed popular."
