Nice location inner city facing the square.
It's a great stay in general. Restaurant nearby are great. Checked in late but front desk left key and note, very thoughtful. Took a while to find the place especially at night.

Center of everything!!
We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is at the center of the city and great view from the window. The lady at the frontdesk was very helpful to understand the place. The room was comfortable and clean. We would like to stay here again.

Bello, rilassante e molto comodo!
Hotel situato nella zona centrale di San Gimignano molto ben tenuto, camera ampia e affaccio sulle colline toscane fanno rilassare la mente e il corpo. L'arredamento della stanza in legno con travi a vista e le mura delle pareti in pietra danno un senso di antico molto gradevole. Il personale attento e disponibile ha completato il soggiorno in modo da renderlo memorabile. Assolutamente consigliato

Poorly managed goast hotel in a good location.
There was no ysoap in the soap bottle and there was no employee in the hotel we could ask for soap. We had to take a shower without soap or shampoo. Bugs were around in the room. The carpet on the floor was very dirty. No cup or glass was in the room or bathroom for teeth brushing. The room was over heated and we sweated all night. The lady checked in us and left. There was no one there around you can ask for help. The next morning we waited until noon to check out but one showed up. We had to leave the key at the desk and left. This is a badly managed hotel like goast house located in the center of the town. It definitely does not worth the money we paid for one night, 88 euro.

It does not get any better than that!
Simply amazing! the entrance, the rooms, the location - it the best your money can get in San Gimingiano! The rooms are huge, unique and absolutely amazing! The location is exactly at the city center, it's a 3 seconds walk to the world's best ice cream :) The reception was very kind and helpful and recommended eating at the "Chiri Biri" which turned out to be one of the best restaurants we've visited during our action - you should try it too. There are 2 things you need to know: 1. It's hard to find the hotel - from the outside there are no signs, simply search for the building number on the town main plaza, then ring the bell. 2. Because of it's location you must get a permission to enter inside with your car (limited for 20 minutes only) recommended!!!

Magical time in San Gimignano
Al Pozzo was right in the main Piazza in San Gimignano. There are lots of stairs so don't bring a big bag. You'll have to drag it around San G and then up the many stairs to the room. Our room overlooked the Piazza. But the windows and the shutters blocked out the light and sounds of the busy Piazza so sleeping was no problem. The bed was comfy and bathroom big. Had a rain shower and it was awesome. Don't try to drive in San G. Just park in one of the many parking spots and grab the bus to the entry gate of San G and walk to the Piazza and your room. Driving in there was a nightmare. We got stuck on a steep hill in a manual rental car with people all around.

Super place
Hotel is in the middle of old town. Location perfect for walk. Downsize is that you have to walk around 10-15 minuets to parking lot but if you want to be in the heart of old Toscania city you have to be prepare for that. Dont go to the city even if you will get permission from hotel service. This is not best idea and believe me as I made this mistake. Leave your car outside and walk. Otherwise hotel was fantastic. Room big enough for 4 people, clean, and location was terrific!. We will definitely go there again.

Hotel con encanto en el centro de san Gimignano
La habitación era preciosa, las camas muy cómodas. El detalle de tener una nevera pequeñita, se agradece muchísimo, sobretodo ahora en verano. Los pequeños puntos de luz hacían la habitación muy cálida. El baño no le faltaba detalle. Las vistas desde la habitación, espectaculares. Muy céntrico. La única pega, el aire acondicionado. Teníamos aire acondicionado, pero no enfriaba mucho. Hacia muchísima calor en la habitación, y por la noche lo tenias que dejar encendido, y hacia un poco de ruido y molestaba al dormir. Pero es un hotel que sin duda repetiría!!

Stunning!
A hidden gem in a stunning location! San Gimignano is beautiful, would highly recommend a trip. This small hotel opens out onto the prettiest little square on one side, with the rolling hills of Tuscany on the other. Immaculate room, is even better than it looks in the photos! Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent rooms, great value, but over-hyped
We loved the place. It's a pity they claim to have non-existent facilities (no 'shower/tub combination', toiletries, minibar, or tea/coffee maker - there were even no water or wine glasses) because the rooms and the location are excellent and great value.

Not a hotel just a room
This is a minimalist experience, in all aspects. A great location and tasteful refurb is spoilt by lack of comfort and attention to detail.

Right in the centre
Right in the centre of this beautiful town. Rooms are large, with a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. Recent renovation, so still a littler lack of character, but plenty of comfort. No breakfast available.

Accueil, chambre, emplacement, tout est au top, quel bel endroit !!! Village à découvrir absolument, nous n'y sommes restés assez longtemps. Par contre, le petit déjeuner pris à l'extérieur selon ce qui est proposé et annoncé à 10€ pour deux nous a finalement coûté 28€...!?

Great Location
This is one of these small Italian places that's not exactly a hotel and not exactly an apartment. It has only 3 rooms and they're right on piazza d. Cisterna. Perfect for off-season, but it could get noisy in high season. As it was, our room looked out on the piazza, very picture-esque. There isn't 24 hour service, so you are given keys to let yourself in an out. We were with our two children, 14 and 9, and they had two pull out beds, which took up most of the space in the room. For a double, it would have been perfect, and good for 3, but too small for 4. But the price was right at 115 euros, although this didn't include breakfast. Add 5E per person for that. Since there is no elevator, you need to walk up several flights of stairs. Not a problem for us, but could be for others. A big plus was the bathroom, which was big for Italian hotels and had a wonderful shower. The room itself and the hallways were tastefully decorated, with vaulted brick ceilings. All in all, we had a very good stay.

Wonderful, quirky accommodation
San Gimignano is uniquely wonderful. To stay in a 13th century building with only 3 VERY tastefully designed bedrooms is also uniquely wonderful. We should have stayed longer!

Localização incrível, em meio a um visual natural exuberante mas tambem a poucos minutos (de carro) de cidades como montalcino, montepulciano e monticchiello. O Vilmo, proprietário, se mostrou muito receptivo e deu ótimas dicas do que fazer. Vale a pena!

Unbelievably Wonderful
This 3-room 'hotel' has only been open since June 2012 and it is beautifully restored, spacious, charming, luxurious and located in the true heart of San Gimignano, surrounded by towers & with wonderful views - ours was of the town & the Tuscan countryside. The hosts were friendly and helpful, as were the other guests! It is in a stone building built hundreds of years ago but retains that charm while being completely modern with heat, refrigerator, upscale bathroom, free wi-fi, and comfortable beds. We had 2 teenage sons with us and we all loved it. You get to drive in to drop off your luggage, park your car outside the walls for €15/night, then drive back in to load up to leave. It's a 5-10 minute charming walk through town from the parking to the hotel. We found it easier to walk with our luggage to the car at the end, as we got lost trying to drive to it the first night - the map print was very small.

Great hotel if you go in season
We absolutely loved this hotel - its location is excellent, right in the middle of the town. There are only 3 rooms in the whole hotel, and we were the only guests staying so we had the whole place to oursleves (inc the front door key!!). The views from our room were amazing and i can image they'd be fantastic in the Summer! Unfortunately we visited on a Sunday in November (low season) which meant not a lot was open in the evening - we wish we'd have known this before going, but by no means the fault of the hotel at all. We did manage to find one restaurant, but the food was mediocre. We'll definitely visit again but perhaps when it's busier :-)
