"Another fine stay, Hostal wouldn't warrant a stay of more than a few days, but really good for early departures from Alicante/Elche airport, or late arrivals, though make sure you have your details as it's automated check in later on."

"Very nice hotel! It looks modern, sleek, clean. Staff was always helpful and nice. The location of the hotel is in the middle of a business/Industrial site, still nice and no noisy. Alicante and Elche are about 20-25 minutes away. They provided boxed water in the room which was nice. Breakfast was consistent and good quality. The only thing is that they closed their pool area at 8pm, and it is spring/ summer time! Sun is still out and hot ;) We were a group of 9, I would stay again!"

"Check in was easy although a handful of staff didn’t speak English very well. It would have been nice if there was a cart service to bring your golf clubs from the reception to the golfing areas as it’s a good 5min walk. There are enough dining areas on the grounds to keep you entertained after a game of golf."

"Let me start with the positives: the hotel is conveniently located, close to the beach and a short walk from town. The lobby is beautifully decorated which gives it a nice first impression. Having said that, we had a very poor experience at this hotel for a few reasons. The rooms are tiny so don't expect much comfort or luxury. They ticked most boxes for a 4 star hotel by doing the absolute minimum: most amenities are there, but crammed into a space the size of a caravan. But the worst part was...

"We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend, firstly the really positive points: Staff were amazing, so helpful and couldn't do enough for you. Lovely pool area, really clean and always sunbeds available. We paid slightly more for a room next to the pool and would really recommend doing this. "Excellent hotel, staff really friendly and helpful. Close to local restaurants and the beach. Public transport also easily accessible, main but station about 15 min walk for access into Alicante. Overall, we loved our stay at the Narcea Hotel and would use again for Santa Pola."
