The food at the Hotel is easily the best I have had at a hotel and deserving of a Michelin star. And the proprietress was lovely. We went to a wine tasting first at Gambino Winery 7 minutes away which I highly recommend. This was the perfect location for that. We left in the morning for Taormina which was an easy 35 minute drive. we are a family of Americans figuring it out as we go. This part of our trip went very easily...

"Beautiful hotel close to the main area. The star to this property is the hotel staff from the concierge, to front desk and to the fabulous breakfast staff in the am. We had arrived late and the dining options were closing and kept the restaurant open for us and offered us a traditional Sicilian meal! First of many fabulous meals here. The roof top was great - we enjoyed a drink every night before dinner. A perfect stay for our week in Sicily!"

"A wonderful property in such a beautiful setting. Quiet and peaceful, surrounded by vineyards with views of Mount Etna and the village of Castiglione perched on a hillside. We loved having access to the swimming pool, the rooms are a good size and the food and wine was excellent. "Great hotel with fabulous staff! It was raining when we were there, so we didn’t enjoy the pool or game areas, but I would love to return in the sunshine. "

"The view on top of Castelmola is breathtaking. Its hard to reach with many serpentine, but it was worth it. Lorenzo, the manager, was phenomenal. He was really kind and helpful with all our matters. Ariana, the cleaning and breakfast lady did also a fantastic job. Over all it was a really nice short trip to Sicily and we highly recommend Casa Blandano."
