"The Bristol fit my needs as a work traveler and use of city's convention center. It was a healthy walk to convention halls but weather was beautiful for it. I used city bus from airport and easy with stop close to hotel. Light rails also close by. Hotel a few blocks off main Gaslamp hustle bustle. Property was unique and not like corporate cookie cutter. It had a boutique hotel feel. Hotel was undergoing some renovations in lobby area but it did not affect my rest in my room. Would recommend"

"Very kind staff. Beds were comfortable and the breakfast was great. Room was a bit dusty and some trash was left under the bathroom. The trash can in the room was extremely tiny and with no trash chute on the floor, you are forced to go to the lobby each time to throw away your larger trash (take out boxes and such). The bathroom door is a very heavy sliding door, be ready for an arm workout. Elevators take long and sometimes one won't work when pressed. Windows hardly open. Good blackout curtain with a light curtain infront. Wifi was easy to join to and had no issues connecting to the smart tv. Ice maker on the floor worked well. The only microwave they have is in the lobby and is actually the worst thing ever. It is very tiny and even on the highest power setting expect to add an additional 2 minutes to the cook time (no I am not joking, that microwave is awful). "
