Room was. Clean and had a comfortable feel about it. Felt almost like a small cabin. Would be great for extended stays. Every thing was kept up and looked nice except the sign for the hotel. Breakfast was more than expected.

We really like Gateway Inn & Suites. This was the third time we have stayed there. Clean, and relaxing. Close enough to downtown Salida that you could walk. Staff is very nice. They have a typical hotel breakfast.
