This is a good location and walkable to the ports, shopping, restaurants and the train station. This property offered great views from the balcony and the breakfast was really nice. Attentive and friendly host. Thank you.
This is a good property. The hostess gave us a wonderful breakfast and took good care of us. It is a little out of the way for getting to sites, but worth the trek.
Amazing host went above and beyond to make sure we had anything we needed and property is a short walk from restaurants and port/train station. Cant forget about the amazing view from the balcony
Stayed for a number of nights, myself and a friend. Unique accommodations, incredible views of Salerno and the ocean. Everything was close enough to get the most of the Amalfi coast.
The host is so so sweet and attentive
This property was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable, the view from the balcony was great and the morning breakfast was outstanding. Elena is an excellent host and great at communicating back and forth despite the language barrier. The location is in the old town with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The ferry is a 20 minute walk and is fairly flat, we didn't have any trouble getting there on time. It's a little far from the train station, we took a taxi. Elena helped us book the return trip in the taxi. This was one of our favorite places to stay on this trip and I recommend it.
Wonderfully renovated top floor b and b apartment converted into 3 bedrooms with a shared wrap around balcony and sweeping ocean and mountains views. Wonderful owner/ hostess bedrooms are well appointed and simple breakfast provided to get you started.
Elana was a great host. She had breakfast ready for us each morning and was very accommodating. The property was very beautiful and overlooked the Mediterranean and many of the rooftops in Salerno.
The train station is about a 20 minute walk. It is easy to get to, but the cobblestones can be a little bit bumpy. The rooms were very well-kept and clean and we’re nice. The other guests were very quiet and we’re also very nice when we met them on the veranda.
Armonia is an absolute gem and I doubt we would find a more welcoming, friendly and funny host as the lovely owner. Immaculate, well-appointed room and en suite bathroom, a balcony looking out on a stunning, uninterrupted Salerno panorama, alfresco breakfasts with homemade croissants. We spent a glorious week here and would highly recommended it. Just outstanding.
Travel tip: 'Google Translate' was absolutely invaluable.
Wonderful, owner-operated space with great views!!
Elena runs the B&B and was a very sweet and accommodating host. She also lives there so takes great care of her own operation.
Location
The B&B is a ~20 walk from the train station and is up on a hill. It’s on the 6th floor of an old apartment building in a quiet residential neighborhood. The city must have gone through some protests as there is a lot of graffiti and some damage but previous commentary about the level of safety seems to be unwarranted.
Accommodations
We loved our room. It was clean, spacious, and comfortable and also had lots of lovely art. The best part was breakfast each morning on the terrace with a fabulous view of the city and sea, perfectly quiet and unbothered. Elena brought us warm and flaky croissants, made cappuccino, and had other breakfast items as well. Although she doesn’t speak much English, she is there to take care of you.
Conclusion
The location is a reasonable distance from the train station in a quiet neighborhood, the accommodation met our every need, and Elena was the perfect host. We didn’t have a single complaint and wholeheartedly recommend this place. Thank you Elena!!!
Elena is an outstanding host! Very friendly. She assisted us with suggestions on how to get around the Amalfi Coast. Every morning she prepared a wonderful breakfast for our family and served it on the terrace overlooking the city, offering us seconds and thirds if we wanted. We highly recommend her B&B.
I stayed here for four nights as a solo female traveller and loved it! When I tell you this woman is the SWEETEST! She barely speaks english but made me feel like I was staying with my grandma who just wanted to take care of me haha. Fresh baked croissants and cappucino for breakfast every morning, room was clean and the bed was sooo comfortable. The view from the room was AMAZING and fhe big windows made waking up at sunrise worth it! There are tons of dining options nearby, and the waterfront to catch the ferry to many amalfi coast towns is about a 15 min walk. I would definitely stay here again!
We had an excellent stay at Elena’s B&B. The place is spotless and comfortable, and Elena is a wonderful host. The view from the balcony was spectacular. We did day trips to Pompeii and Naples, and having a train station with a grocery shop a few blocks away was very convenient.
Elena was amazing and so welcoming. Shopping was a little walk but very charming neighborhood . The terrace was so nice. It is like home away from home. I would stay again.
This is a wonderful place. The B&B host is lovely and provides a delightful breakfast on the patio overlooking the ocean. This is easy to get to from the Salerno train station (but there are some stairs to lug things up). It is an easy walk to the ferry terminals and to the charming downtown area with tons of options for eating and shopping. My daughter and I highly recommend the B&B Armonia! There is nothing we would change.
VERY much enjoyed our stay at Elena’s B&B Armonia in Salerno. Very convenient .2 mile walk to the train. Elena was a wonderful hostess with delicious homemade cornettas & caffe accompanied with yogurt and juice. The room was very clean. Elena takes pride in the entire space. The views were amazing. This was our favorite stay while in Italy. Plenty of dining options close as well. Thank you, Elena!
