Vega was very courteous and response during our communications via WhatsApp. She accommodated us by holding our luggage until it was time to get to our train on check out day. She made dinner reservations for me and even adjusted them when our train was late. Would highly recommend the B&B Salerno if you want a room with local atmosphere.
Thanks Vega!
The staff/host were very friendly and responsive. However, the room did not look like the pictures, the cleanliness and overall status of the room was poor. We were uncomfortable staying here and ended up finding another place to stay during our family vacation stop in Salerno.

We had a very enjoyable stay at B&B Salerno. It was very private and the host does a very nice job with complimentary drinks, fruits and snacks along with soaps and washes for the shower was above and beyond, thoughtful!
Such a wonderful stay :) everything was modern, clean and very spacious. Check-in and out was easy and they were very helpful.
If you’re coming to Salerno, this is certainly the best place to stay!

This place was not bad. Big room with lots of space. Not too far to the main strip and good spot to explore the area of the Amalfi coast. 15 min walk to ferry
Absolutely loved staying here! Close to the train station (about 5-7 min walk) and close to the ferry station. Very clean and comfortable. The only problem was the door to the building was locked and we could not get in. Luckily someone left the building and that is Joe we got in.

It was a challenge to find the place. Not much for a breakfast. Room was nice and clean, but location was noisy.
I wanted to let you know that your apartment and extraordinary kindness made our stay in Salerno just a wonderful visit!
This place was just great, as described, and perfectly located.
Very comfortable, every amenity one could want and truly only 10 minutes from the train terminal.
After our first day, ( with the nice lady help on the phone from test) we were able to navigate the city quite easily.
Gulia was just great and did a wonderful job as well.
We certainly hope that our travels will bring us your way once again, and if so, we will certainly stay with you.
5 STAR Plus.

Clean and new. View of ocean, perfect. Great mattress. A very comfortable space. Well supplied with everything you need. Unfortunately a very large construction project next door and very noisy during the day. They did not disclose this. had to go elsewhere to have my Zoom meeting's. I thought it was going to be quiet. I had a guest for dinner and they knew about it. They sent me a message and threatened me to leave unless I provided documentation. I knew I was being watched and it made me uncomfortable the rest of the stay.
We enjoyed our short stay at B&B Salerno. Our breakfast options were disappointing, as this is one of the key reasons we booked an accommodation offering breakfast options. The basket that was placed in the kitchen had crackers, jam, packaged cake, and the fridge contained a container of juice and a small jug of milk. I guess I just thought breakfast was going to be delivered or offered in the morning. I’m just listing this so that people can be clear on the breakfast option.
The hosts were wonderful people who were hardworking and available for anything we needed at any time of day! Thank you for that!!
The property is a 20 min walk to the ferry station, and taxis are available when needed. Uber is NOT an option in Salerno which was a surprise for us. If you’re coming from the train station, B&B Salerno is a short 10 min walk to the property. If you’ve got large luggage it may be exhausting to walk but it’s doable.
All in all, this stay was a nice authentic Italian experience with the property having a lot of its authentic features.
This property was chosen for it's proximity to the train station. It's a 12 minute walk. As far as finding it and connecting with the host (some of this is our fault/ lack of skill) but there was very little direction from the host. Knowing our date of arrival a welcome message might've helped. Perhaps a little 'how to'? Checking in was really left to us to figure out. It was a little tricky to find but it was close to the train. (Overall Italy gets 2 out of 5 for street signs). We did make the connection and got in. It was quite a nice, spacious place - all large rooms; a beautiful old building with high ceilings and lovely wooden shutters on the windows. Again though, while physically equipped with TV, Washer, coffee maker (who makes home coffee in Italy?) we couldn't figure out how those things worked. Also we would've liked more info on the basics of the area. Big stuff like what if a medical emergency? etc. A binder of info would've really been nice.
Finally, noise. There's a lot of traffic street noise on and off right below the apartment. Via Balzico is a busy uphill one-way street that is jammed at rush hours with horns honking, motorcycles revving by. This wasn't all the time. Saturday and Sunday were much better.
Unit noise; when the unit next door flushes, for whatever design, plumbing reason - it's quite loud.
So it wasn't all bad; it could be better from the host perspective. Street noise? Well there are many permanent residents in the area that put up with it.
Parking is inaccessible unless you park in a lot. Our room was clean but the bathroom needed a bit of maintenance.

Double booked our room
Didn't appreciate our suite being double booked the day we were to check in. No heads up, owner was more interested in their day off than being helpful. This stay could have been much better if it wasn't for the terrible check in experience.
The owner was nice and allows me to check in and gave me a big room with 1 single bed and I double bed for me, even though I had reserved a double room only. The bathroom was clean and the bed was comfortable; however as my room overlooked the street, it was noisy in the early morning. The kitchen has stoves and other utensils for cooking but lacks a microwave oven. The breakfast was only biscuits with ham and capsule coffee; but given the all-inclusive price of around EUR 30 per night, I think overall this B & B really worth bthe money.
