Sale San Giovanni

"A very special, evocative and peaceful place!"

"Toppen boende bra frukost"

"It’s a beautiful spot but extremely small bathroom with limited/bare necessities. The breakfast buffet was extremely limited and mostly prepackaged items. No variety, every morning same items. Too bad cause it’s a beautiful location"

"Friendly owners, nice place although somewhat remote. Very clean. A little disappointing was the fact that we had to pay extra 20 euros for a couple of coffees and tea."

"I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is going to visit Mondovi . Barbara, the hotel owner , will tell you the story of this historic building and their restoration efforts. Since Barbara and her husband are in book publishing business too, each room has its own theme from a book. The theme of my room is little prince. I was so impressed how the room was decorated . The breakfast was very delicious and fresh . Staff are extremely helpful and kind. I will definitely come back to this hotel...

"Bra boende med hjälpsam personal. Extra plus för vinprovingen tillsammams med middagen"

"This place is STUNNING! It is a 1600's monastery that was converted by a husband and wife team to into a bed and breakfast. They are the ones that run it and truly take of their guests out of personal pride for what they have created. It is located on quiet hillside surrounded by vineyards and farm land. A magnificent setting to get away from daily stresses and enjoy the beautiful wine country of Piedmont. Having a car is helpful since it is a bit of a walk to the nearest town, but they can...

"Hotel Villa San Carlo was a disappointment. The hosts are exceedingly nice, but the hotel itself is in dire need of an update. Nothing has been done in 20 years. The beds are wildly uncomfortable, the bathrooms less functional from the shower cabins to the 20 year old hair dryers. Air conditioning works sometimes, WiFi is sketchy and the breakfast is severely lacking. Even for Italian standards. The same sad hard boiled eggs came from the fridge 3 days in a row."

"Otroligt trevligt hotell i byns hjärta. Rekommenderas."

"The entire hotel is immaculate and the rooms are gorgeous with amazing views. I felt like I was living at a spa the whole time."
