We were on a trip to Bergerac and this was a one night stop so we didn't reallyhave a chance to experience the pool/spa, but the outside sitting areas were nice and being able to get wine and beer was really nice after a long drive. "Stayed two nights with two kids. Pool area was great. Didn't feel packed. Needed a reservation for dinner at the hotel restaurant, but dinner choices were excellent. Staff were all helpful. Rooms did get a bit warm and we were there when it was slightly cooler out, but windows could open adequately enough to get a breeze. It's a bit remote, which we read in another review so we expected that, but can feel a little isolating. The little town is great."

"This is a very nice, well-kept property. The room was very nice, and the staff were very accommodating to our needs. There are potentially a lot of steps up and down on the property to get to one's room, so handicapped persons might experience some difficulty. The immediate area around the hotel is quiet, so moving one's car to load and unload luggage wasn't a problem, but the parking lot is small and down the hill from the hotel. The restaurant on site was very nice and the food was good."
