Disliked: Amenities
Great breakfast and kind staff. The walls are paper thin however, and a noisy neighbor made for a very disrupted sleep. The beds need improvement in comfort but the room was clean. The “gym” is very limited.
Excellent staff, very friendly and hard working. A pleasure to see them all helping one another.
Excellent food, good wine and beer.
Ideally situated for touring in all directions.
The staff here are really special and should be appreciated.
A beautiful hotel with friendly staff. Very modern hotel a 10 minute stroll to the square in st Omer. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were great and shower fantastic
We ate at the hotel every night we were there as the food was so good! Staff were welcoming and friendly. Also rooms were comfortable with good air conditioning. Will stay again if I ever return to the region.
Nice welcome , family room, dogs allowed.
Great restaurant and the breakfast had lots of choice . I would stay again and only 30 mins to Eurotunnel. 10/10 for the price.
Courteous staff,
I have never eaten in a 4 star hotel dinning room before with my outdoors coat done up as the room was so cold and staff were unable to do anything about it.
Wrong name on Expedia confirmation. After asking 4 people who couldn't help i flagged down a police car!.
Never using Expedia again.
We stayed in Saint Omer after arriving in Calais earlier that day. We were so impressed with the staff and the room. Staff were friendly, helpful and patient when I attempted French (but luckily they spoke English perfectly).
There was a very personal (especially the dog treats and little note) feel despite being a big chain.
We would absolutely stay here again, thank you!
This hotel stood out because of the service, the front of house staff were all amazing, friendly, helpful and effective. It’s in a great location, quiet and within easy walking distance of the town. We were on a cycling weekend and there was an excellent secure cycle storage room.
We were pleasantly surprised with how lovely this hotel was. The style and decor was gorgeous and the location was ideal to spend a pleasant morning before heading for the channel tunnel. The staff were all really helpful when needed. We will return. Thank you.
Very friendly service, good condition hotel, nice breakfast, but all slightly tarnished by the faint (and it was faint but it was there) sewage smell in the room
Good over night stay at this hotel. Would have given the hotel a 5* review but the rooms were so hot and there was a plastic mattress protector under the sheets, which was uncomfortable and sweaty. We enjoyed the bar, the restaurant, the staff, the clean rooms and the parking. Location is good too - we just couldn't sleep! No option to open our window etiher as we were right by the A/C unit which was very noisy. Would stay here again but remove the the plastic under-sheet first!
Great stay on our way back to Calais. Great hotel, newly refurbished, easy to find with convenient safe parking. Only glitch was eating in the restaurant as it was busy so it took over 45 minutes for our food to arrive. It would have been good to be warned of this as we might have made the decision to go out and get a quick bite instead as the children were tired. That said, the staff were super friendly and the food was very nice when it did come. A good comfortable stay overall.
We had an overnight stay here, travelling home from the South of France, choosing the hotel for easy access to le Shuttle. The hotel exceeded our expectations, reception area and bar were excellent and they also had a nice outside area for drinks and food on a nice evening. Hotel parking was very good with easy access to the hotel. Our room was also excellent, very spacious and had everything we needed. We chose to eat in the hotel restaurant, having travelled all day, but were a bit disappointed because of the long wait for our main course. However when the food did arrive it was fine and overall very good value for money. Breakfast was served early, as we had a train to catch this was a necessity and everything was ready and waiting when we arrived 10 minutes before official time with no fuss being made. Choice was exellent and good coffee and choice of teas. Would definitely return on a future trip.
The car park was ideally situated and was very safe. Breakfast was excellent, although the hotel ran out of fruit for breakfast. The staff were superb, always ready to help. Only complaint is if you stay for more than 1 night you will find that there are no draws to put your clothes to keep them in a suitcase is not ideal.
