"The hotel is an old fashioned motel style low rise block with room doors giving into the car park, a grassed area or a walkway. It was very clean, the air con worked well, the bed was comfortable, the shower was decent and it was very quiet. The manager gave us a room giving onto a grassy area in the shade as he knew we were travelling with a dog. In the evening we popped into his bar area and were served decent wine. "After reading a bad review, we were unsure whether to book but it was unwarranted because our stay was wonderful! The host was welcoming, helping us with a restaurant booking nearby. The room was the largest we have stayed in since travelling around France. It said online it had air conditioning but it had a fan which was sufficient as the large room was very cool."

"Beautiful hotel all in art deco style. The owner has really excelled in finding quirky appropriate pieces which reflect the period and he goes out of his way to make your stay very comfortable! We had a smaller room for our one night stay but it was adequate with a comfortable bed and clean, well equipped bathroom. The gardens are so pretty with lots of ornaments and shady sitting areas.
