Dog friendly to say the least!! We felt the odd ones out, without a dog. Unfortunately, we had a yapping dog next door.
The hotel needs a little TLC. It feels like it could do with a lick of paint and some new carpets. When you do the carpets, spend some time refixing the floorboards down, so they don’t creak as much.
Location wise it was good, with easy access to the North Wales tourist towns.
The reception staff were lovely at check-in (poor lady had completely lost her voice) and check-out; however, the overnight staff were over the top unhelpful. One-word answers and made us feel that we were asking for the earth with any request. These two gents need a little customer service training.
Breakfast was OK to good, but with very anaemic sausages and no eggs on Monday, it was let down. The breakfast staff were spot on and extremely helpful and responsive.
We had a good time overall in the area, but would not stop here again.
