"I liked the location near the motorway - it's a busy golf and leisure club. Car park was full. Very quiet location, rooms spacious but there's no air conditioning. Nice bar where you can get a drink or a snack. Breakfast was nice - service not quite on point"

"Overall stay was okay, venue in itself was clean and well maintained. However there was no restaurant open due to a conference being held, only the bar was open with a limited menu. Food took over an hour to arrive and staff had to be reminded several times. On arrival food was cold and at that point not enjoyable for the overly expensive price."

"This place has so many things that should be great - a beautiful setting, building and amenities. Unfortunately it’s let down by poor management.. From what I can see - the pool is a separate business - run by great staff, as a lido. It’s fab. The hotel is pretty but Fawlty Towers-like in its management. For example, my husband slashed his toe very badly on a broken glass on the lawn and the hotel staff had no idea what to do about it. The lido staff came to the rescue and did an excellent...

"If you are visiting Hever Castle and need a close by place to stay, this location is only 16 minutes away. The air conditioning is a godsend in the summer, considering many other nearby bed and breakfast places are without air conditioning at all."
