"The Leicester was everything a person could hope for and more! Cliff was an amazing host and provided great dining recommendations! Breakfast was amazing and the guest house menu was extremely varied and all delicious. The room was very comfortable and clean. The absolute perfect location as well."
"We stayed here for 1 night and the hotel is beautiful. It was clean and the air con in the room was fantastic! Everyone at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, the garden terrace with the room looked magical lit up at night. The location is great just minutes walk away from everything, I would very highly recommend this hotel and the price was cheap compared to other places. "
"Been coming here for years and Southport since 70’s both great but need fridges back in hotel rooms and work to progress with new Southport attractions. Vgood hotel/ location/ staff and for us was as usual “!Sunny Southport” in all aspects"
"Nice and clean, everything you needed including a fan (it was very hot) shampoo and conditioner were really good. Most hotel shampoo’s make my hair dry. The ones provided didn’t do that. "
"We didn't stay at the hotel for a number of reasons. Firstly, the surrounding area was deprived with half the buildings either boarded up or in disrepair. Secondly, having a 'seaview' and being a 'boutique' hotel is debatable, but definitely not from the outward appearance of the property. It was scruffy and needed maintenance to the paintwork and front door. Thirdly, to be made to stand outside ringing a bell for 30 minutes is unacceptable and shows poor customer service.

"Place is managed by one man Tom who was very nice ...Owner was off to Birmingham as we arrived and another lady disappeared when I spoke to her so not much of a welcome . Place needs work and cleaning tbh ... Basic standards are a must especially in a town with so much competition.. Hotel had two names which doesn't help.Think we were the only ones there but we were the only ones for breakfast ... Took a while to get any response from anyone as place was deserted but got there in the end ...Tom...
"Really enjoyed our stay, good location near to everything - restaurants, shops ,cafe's, pubs and the lovely promenade.
Nice and clean and very comfy bed.
Look forward to visiting again soon."
