"Stayed here for one night. Grounds are very pretty and hotel is based on the side of quite a steep hill so quite a lot of stairs and ramps. There are some lifts to parts of property but not all and they are in odd locations, for example one led to a pitch black banquet hall that you needed to pass through. "They were doing renovations in other rooms in the building (we stayed off-season), so our room smelled like plaster and construction materials from all the dust etc from the downstairs renovation. In my opinion, they should not have listed the property since it is under renovation. We literally had to walk over construction materials to climb the stairs. We reported it the front desk and was told that the entire building’s AC was shut down for winter and would not turn on. We stated we need to have some type of cool circulation and was told to open the balcony doors.
