"Ok the one (and only!) bad thing first: the shuttle to the airport is not free. It’s $35 usd. This place is gorgeous. The neighborhood was a bit worrisome but once you figure out downtown is only a mile away, the walk is worth it- and no one was aggressive with us. I even walked by myself several times with no issues (f 34yr). The bar and restaurant staff are so accommodating and the food is delicious. "
"We loved the down to earth atmosphere. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed chatting with Cheryl, the breakfast host. She did an amazing job stocking up on the breakfast items and she gave us ideas of things to do in Detroit. The place was quiet and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. We highly recommended staying here. "
