"Stayed for 2 nights. Rooms are clean and spacious. Parking lot is small but closed inside gated place. Excellent communication with very friendly staff. Easy check in/out. Place is part of/next to archaeological site & walking distance to theater. Took taxi (called by staff) to Ortigia (4 adults less than 20 Euros). Worth the visit! "

"Fabulous B&B. Anna the host is friendly and welcoming and speaks excellent English. Perfect location just across the bridge to Ortiga. Lovely rooms, excellent breakfast. Mini fridge with free bottled water was provided in the room and communal area where you could help yourself to snacks, tea and coffee. "Fantastic hotel with great facilities and very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was very tasty (and lovely to eat on the terrace overlooking the sea). Beautiful big room with a balcony right above the sea. A lovely calm atmosphere about the whole place. It was great to be able to go downstairs for a swim with islands to sit on just at the back of the hotel. "Excellent experience with incredibly attentive staff. The room was delightful and just what we needed. The parking was easily accessible even though one needs to drive around the block to get there, but it’s just behind the hotel - very convenient. The breakfast was excellent and again served very attentively in the same space that, at night, is used for the Onda Blu high level fish-focused restaurant (10% off too as hotel clients). Don’t be fooled by the “fish market” designation on Google Maps...

"Staff was great, the room was charming and the breakfast was the best in Italy! There was street noise in the later evening as we were trying to sleep. We are not party people. The arrival and parking situation was unclear as this was our first Ortigia trip. I thought that we had arranged for someone to park our car. We had to walk our luggage in to the hotel with no where to park leaving someone with the car and police officers telling us we could not stay there then drive to a public parking...

"The hotel was truly lovely, clean and in a perfect location for all our jaunts; we were greeted warmly by all staff we encountered. The included Buffet Breakfast was varied and fresh. We did not try the in-house restaurant but the menu was very interesting snd upscale. I highly recommend the Caportigia Boutique Hotel and we would gladly stay again!"

"This property has it all! Parking, although not free, was close by and safe. The rooftop terrace we enjoyed immensely and the room was very nice. The island is loaded with restaurants and shopping, everything is within a short walk and very safe. We also enjoyed a boat trip around the island.
