Location is ideal for a quick walk to the amazing archeological park, and easy city buses nearby to ride to Ortigia on hot days. A good value overall. If you’re one who needs a human connection where you stay, this is not for you. Every step is automated, even getting your breakfast roll and coffee across the street (although the bakery owner is delightful and friendly)

Very lovely experience, one night stay

We only stayed for one night to visit Siracusa during the day. Its closely located to the Neapolis Archaeological Park, one of the main attractions. Around 30min walk to Isola di Ortigia. From our room, the hotel was nice and quite. The toilet/bathroom could have been cleaner, but nothing else to complain about. The breakfast across the street was lovely, classic Sicilian.

Easy to find free parking in the vicinity. Initial check-in was easy by clicking on a link received on our cellphone in order to access the building and room. This hotel has mastered the use of technology. No need for someone to let you in or for someone to sit on the front desk.

This is in a nice residential neighborhood near the Greek theater and the huge,garish Santuario Madonna della Lacrima. It’s near bus lines and within walking distance of Ortigia and the station. You get in initially via WhatsApp links, somewhat intimidating for old people like me, but the owners are very helpful. Breakfast is at a bar across the street. People there speak English and have the usual Italian bar offerings and pastries. The facility is pleasant, with a shared kitchen with other guests.

I haven't slept so well for months! The B&B was very clean, the bed super comfortable, the Persian blinds blocking out as much light as you want, and, being located in the main town off of the main street, it was quiet at night. Andrea and Marilena were fantastic hosts. They do not live onsite but were there when I arrived and I saw them pop in at least once over the next couple of days to make sure everything was ok and messaged to see if I needed anything, which was nice. There is a communal kitchen area and I loved how each of the 5 rooms had been given its own shelf in the fridge, ready stocked with water and some breakfast snacks. Breakfast was self-service and you could choose from eggs, bacon, yoghurt, toast, and some excellent cakes made by the lovely Marilena - the chocolate cake with its secret ingredient was divine! I chose this B&B because it was located 10 mins from the classical ruins and the archaeological museum and not too far from the train station. It's about a 15-20 min walk into the heart of Ortygia, which I liked (something to help counteract the overindulgence of breakfast cake and exciting Siracusan cuisine!), but I could have hopped on the local or the tourist bus which stopped literally a minute from the front door! B&B il Tempio di Athena is incredible value for money. I could not believe my luck! Grazie Andrea e Marilena! A la prossima!

La camera un vero gioiellino, con balcone con tavolino e sedie che affaccia proprio sul santuario, ticket per colazione alla fantastica pasticceria di fronte, per noi che avevamo prenotato per lo spettacolo al teatro greco posizione eccellente visto che ci si arriva in meno di 10 minuti a piedi, sempre a piedi comunque anche una mezz’oretta da Ortigia, la consigliamo!!

Chambre spacieuse avec sdb privée , cuisine à disposition pour dîner avec le nécessaire. Situé à 20 min à pieds de la gare mais à côté du parc archéologique. Je n ai pas rencontré notre hôte mais échanges faciles par WhatsApp. Seul bémol , petit déjeuner à prendre à l extérieur et j ai dû ajouter à chaque fois car 1 croissant +1 café , j apprécie de prendre un bon petit déjeuner en voyage

Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind modern, sauber, komfortabel, es steht allen Gäste eine große und gut ausgestattete Küche zur Verfügung. Die Lage ist optimal. Das Check-in ist bis 20 Uhr möglich. Wir sind wesentlich später angekommen und wurden trotzdem eingecheckt. Die Gastgeberin hat jeden morden Kuchen gebacken. Vielen Dank für alles, wir kommen gerne wieder!
