"The property is in a state park, there are many beautiful sites and walks nearby. When we stayed the rookery next door was full of nesting cormorants. Loved all the bird songs & sounds each morning and enjoyed watching them build nests and bring food to the young hatchlings. All this and you could easily walk into town or it’s a short 5 minute drive. I will definitely stay here again."

"Damien was great — he was attentive, helpful, and wanted to make sure we enjoyed our stay. However, the hotel building itself was a bit old and the floors were loud. The window screen in our room was broken, and the AC was also a bit loud. The hot breakfast was excellent."

"We stay at the Motel 6 San Luis Obispo South every time we come to town. It is affordable and a very nice property with lots of trees and in a safe area. Staff is always friendly and helpful. We like this place very much. The only complaint is the noisy big rig trucks that park in the back and fire up very early in the morning. Some of the best rooms are at the back but be prepared for the noise!"

The room had a very quiet AC, and a fireplace which was cute. The pool was great, the service at the pool as well, we had cocktails, wine, charcuterie board and pizza!"
